Ice Day

Well, you know how we southerners are.. the slight chance of snow or ice causes schools to close and people to rush out for milk and bread...

Yesterday, we were released from school at 12 because the snow was suppose to start that afternoon.. it didn't even really get heavy until around 4 or so.. and then it stopped. We got hardly any accumulation.

Then, it started sleeting and freezing raining.. and of course, with the low temperatures at night, it froze the roads.

We started with a 2-hour delay, but then it got canceled around 6:30. So much for that workday in February.. *sigh* So, we had our own work day here at home, complete with cleaning and laundry. Michael even went out (because he was working from home) to get us some McD's for lunch.

A child after my own heart. <3 Ketchup

I taught him how to "Cheers!"

This is the awkward face I get when I bring out the camera. I've scarred him.
