First week down..

I went back to work this week and Will went to daycare on Wednesday. The lady who is keeping him seems to be in love! She says that he was an "angel", or "wonderful", or "so pleasant!" Well, that's a relief! All my worrying was for nothing (shocker). :) It wasn't too bad of a transition and it was actually easier than I expected. I enjoy working and being at work with my friends. It is nice to feel like myself again, rather than a stay-at-home mom who doesn't shower every day or change out of sweats... ever. Sure, I'm tired. Will isn't "sleeping through the night" yet, which really only means that he isn't sleeping 6 hours straight.. It would be so nice to not have to get up in the middle of the night.. but hey, I'll be patient. He's still got reflux and the daycare lady was so sweet in how she put it.. "um, could you bring me something more heavy duty than these little burp cloths.. he's soaking through them.." That's my boy!

At 3 months, Will:
- LOVES sucking on his fingers and moving them in all directions
-tries to grab his bottle and put it in his mouth
-pulls the pacifier out of his mouth and then tries to put it back (usually unsuccessfully)
-is rolling over from tummy to back
-loves to "talk", squeal, and giggle
-is in Size 2 diapers b/c he is 14 lbs.. WHOA.
-can grab a rattle... and then bring it to his mouth just like everything else
-kicks, kicks, and kicks some more
-has a very concentrated face when trying to grab or kick something, like in the bathtub
-is easily startled by loud surprising noises (like Elf and the Jack-in-the-Box)
-enjoys staring at the Christmas tree lights.. ah, he shares my affinity for the holidays :)
-still hates the swing
-would watch TV all day long if we let him (takes after his dad)
-pukes during and after car rides
-is already almost too long for 3 month clothes (25.25in)
-is pretty much the cutest thing ever :)

  1. Noah is addicted to TV, too! He will even try to turn completely around, if he knows it's behind him. Boys!
