GO PACK :)
We took the same picture in November.. he is getting so big :(
OK, so Little Will turned 5 months a week and a half ago, but I've been a little busy!! Time is flying by so fast it makes me sad. :( Sigh..... well anyway..
At 5 months, my big boy...
- has eaten some baby food (sweet potatoes, green beans, pears, apples, and squash)
- eats around 25oz of formula a day.. it's on the low end of what he should be eating..
- has one tooth!!
- weighs about 16 lbs (50%) and around 27 inches long
- LOVES grabbing at everything, even his toes, and jumping in his jumperoo
- squeals like a girl
- reaches out for things when on his tummy
- recognizes familiar faces by grinning and squealing
- has started chuckling (it is sooo cute)
- gets excited when Daisy comes near him
- can sit assisted very well, and can sit "tripod" like for a few seconds before falling over
- has started lifting his head up when reclined back
- puts everything in his mouth
- can put himself to sleep by himself in his crib (yaaay)
- has slept through the night the past 2 nights... I hope he keeps it up!!
- recognizes his bottle and if he sees it, he'll fuss until you bring it to him
-can roll from back to side.. soon it'll be all the way over!
-blows/spits/makes boat engine noise? out of his mouth :) not sure what the technical term is, but it's funny
Overall, he is doing very well and is becoming very predictable. It is easy to tell when he is tired because he will start to fuss and then rub his eyes. He is still taking 45 minute naps (sometimes longer at daycare), and goes to bed between 7-8pm depending on when his last nap was. But, NOTHING is routine for him.. he never wakes up at the same time, never naps or eats at the same time.. this kid has a mind of his own.. maybe he is just trying to keep us on our toes. :)
